The Little Readers Society: Kids Book Club Society
This book club is designed for children who are confidently reading short chapter books. It’s designed to grow fluency, comprehension, and a genuine love for reading.
Each week, children will:
📖 Read sections of an engaging chapter book (included in the cost)
📝 Work through a custom made comprehension journal at home and in class. Exploring character studies, making personal connections to the text, inferencing, finding examples of theme and much more!
🎨 Participate in group discussions, games, crafts, and activities to build critical thinking and writing skills
🔡 Receive targeted phonics instruction (including vowel teams and tricky word rules) to support decoding and fluency
More than just a reading group, this is a space to build community, make connections, and feel proud of growing as a reader.
Who it’s for:
✅ Children ages 6–11 with solid decoding skills
✅ Those ready to engage in chapter book reading
✅ Kids who thrive with fun, structured support and peer discussion
