✨ TLRS: Literacy Intervention for Grade 1 or Grade 2 & 3 Struggling Readers ✨

Dates: July 10, July 17, July 24, July 31, August 7, and August 14

This multi-sensory literacy course is designed specifically for Grade 1 and 2 students who are currently working below grade level expectations in literacy. Our goal is to revisit and strengthen foundational skills to build confidence and inspire a love for reading! 📖💡

  • Sound mapping

  • Blending strategies

  • Short vowel CVC words

  • Digraphs and the Magic E rule

• 🧠 Receive Explicit Instruction:

  • Hands-on, interactive learning

  • Actively social learning through peer collaboration

  • Utilizes the Game Brain to increase retention

• 📚 Take Home Extra Learning Tools:

  • Digital homework package

  • Spelling guidebook

  • Weekly decodable readers
