Great for students with strong letter sound knowledge or students who need to strength their blending and fluency.
🕒 Session Length: 50 minutes
🚗 Drop-Off Only at Lucan Memorial Community Center, Active Living Lion’s Club Center
Led by an Ontario Certified Teacher
This multi-sensory literacy course is designed specifically for JK/SK/Gr. 1 students who are have good letter sound knowledge and are reading to take the next step toward reading! This course walks through making CVC (3 letter words) with each short vowel in order build confidence and inspire a love for reading! 📖💡We will learn effective blending strategies and use sound mapping to begin spelling words independently!
🌟 In This Course, Students Will:
🎯 Learn Foundational Concepts:
Sound mapping
Blending strategies
Short vowels
GOAL: to read and write CVC (3 letter) words
🧠 Explicit Instruction:
Hands-on, interactive learning
Actively social learning through peer collaboration
Utilizes the Game Brain to increase retention

Digital homework package
Spelling guidebook
Weekly decodable readers
